2011 Dodge Nitro R/T: Infusing a Healthy Dose of Sport in the Five-seat SUV Segment

August 31, 2011 The Dodge brand is extending production of the 2011 Nitro through December of 2011 to meet a burst in customer demand. Through the first seven months of 2011, Nitro sales are up 24 percent compared with the same period in 2010, and the brand is planning to meet customer demand ahead of the vehicles previously scheduled phase out.

September 13, 2010 New for 2011, the Dodge Nitro Heat 4.0 lifestyle package joins the Detonator, Shock and Heat models that arrived on the scene in 2010. The new Nitro Heat 4.0 comes standard with a five-speed automatic transmission, standard Uconnect® Phone and an upgraded eight-speaker sound system. Of course the Heat 4.0 would not be complete without the powerful 4.0-liter V-6 engine as standard equipment.
