FCA US Receives 2016 NGV Achievement Award for Converting Transport Fleet to Compressed Natural Gas

May 6, 2016 Natural Gas Vehicles for America presented FCA US LLC the 2016 NGV Achievement Award, celebrating the Company’s $40 million investment to changeover all 179 Detroit-based parts-haulers to run on compressed natural gas (CNG) rather than traditional diesel. The move gave FCA US the largest private fleet of CNG-powered heavy-duty vehicles in the state of Michigan.

California Environmental Group Recognizes GEM Zero Emission Vehicles for Clean Air Leadership

August 20, 2007 California environmentalists have recognized Global Electric Motorcars, a Chrysler company, for its leadership in bringing environmentally-friendly technology to the state’s residents.
