Chrysler Design Art Gallery Brings Decades of Designs to Auto Enthusiasts and Art Collectors

Original automotive illustrations, including many highlighting several of DaimlerChrysler's most celebrated concept and production vehicles, are now available through the Chrysler Design Art Gallery, exclusively at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum Gift Shop.

The original art by Chrysler Group design staff offers a rare glimpse into the creative process that has inspired Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge to introduce some of the industry's most distinctive designs. Sold exclusively through the Walter P. Chrysler Museum Gift Shop, the artwork features a range of automotive perspectives from bold exterior drawings to more detailed interior images. The illustrations are available in-store as well as online at www.chryslerheritage.com.

The Chrysler Design Art Gallery offers a changing array of designs in sizes up to 40" x 22". Pieces range from detailed pencil diagrams to elaborate full-color drawings. The current selection features Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge production and concept car designs, including the 1995 Chrysler Atlantic, a futuristic commuter vehicle and the 1988 Chrysler Diablo. The gallery also highlights the automaker's heritage lines, including the sleek 1992 Plymouth concept.

Each original illustration comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Online visitors to the Chrysler Design Art Gallery will find each illustration along with details regarding the artwork title and designer's name, vehicle brand and the year it was created, art medium and overall size as well as availability and price. Designer biographies accompany many of the illustrations.

Chrysler Design Art Gallery pieces, along with a host of other exclusive collectibles and hard-to-find scale models, books and more, are available in the Walter P. Chrysler Museum Gift Shop. Located on the Museum's main floor, the Gift Shop is open during regular Museum hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Celebrating the American heritage of DaimlerChrysler, the 55,000-square-foot Walter P. Chrysler Museum features three stories of more than 65 vintage, classic, muscle and concept vehicles interspersed with interactive displays and historical exhibits. The Museum is located on the northwest corner of Featherstone and Squirrel Roads on DaimlerChrysler's Auburn Hills, Mich., complex. From I-75, take exit 78 (Chrysler Drive) and follow the Museum signs.
