Joseph Dehner was appointed Head of Ram and Mopar Design on May 15, 2015. In this position, Dehner is responsible for all design activities for Ram and Mopar brand vehicles. Dehner reports to Ralph Gilles, Head of Design, FCA - Global.

Since joining Chrysler in 1988 as a designer, Dehner has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in the Product Design Office. Most recently, he was Vice President - Production Car, Minivan, Truck and Jeep® Design for Chrysler, where he was responsible for all exterior and interior design.

Dehner has served on the board of directors of his alma mater, the Cleveland Institute of Art, since 2008 and has been a visiting transportation design instructor since 1991. He is an avid automobile enthusiast regarding all things design, memorabilia and motorsports related. In his spare time, he enjoys working on his customized 2006 Chrysler 300C SRT8 in addition to running, traveling, art exhibitions and home remodeling.

Dehner holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in industrial design from the Cleveland Institute of Art (1988).

He was born in Indianapolis.
