Joao Laranjo is the Chief Financial Officer for FCA in North America and is responsible for all financial matters relating to the Company’s U.S., Canada and Mexico operations. He was named to the position in March 2017.

Prior to his current position, Laranjo worked as the Latin America (LATAM) CFO since November 2015. Based in Brazil, he was responsible for overseeing, planning and managing financial operations and controlling for the Company. He also served as LATAM Deputy CFO and as the LATAM Chief Accounting Officer. Before that, Laranjo held various financial positions primarily relating to FCA’s LATAM operations.

Laranjo came to the Company in April 2009 from the Brazil division of General Electric Healthcare where he worked as controller and oversaw controllership activities across three countries.

Laranjo graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais in Brazil with bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business administration along with a master’s degree in finance.
