November 14, 2016 , Windsor, Ontario -  The all-new, made-in-Canada 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid electrifies the minivan segment, adding an innovative, advanced hybrid powertrain to the Pacifica’s no-compromises combination of functionality, versatility, technology and bold styling – all starting for less than $45,000 with available electric vehicle ‘Green-initiative’ purchase incentives.

Built at the award-winning Windsor Assembly Plant (WAP), the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is available as one exceptionally well-contented Platinum model, starting at $56,495 Canadian Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), not including destination or the available provincial electric vehicle ‘Green-initiative’ incentives.
 
Thanks to its large, 16-kWh battery pack and its ability to transport seven people comfortably and efficiently, Pacifica Hybrid qualifies for the maximum $14,000 offered under the Ontario Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (EVIP). Therefore, Ontario customers can purchase the Pacifica Hybrid for as low as $44,106.
 
In Quebec and British Columbia – the other two Canadian provinces with similar electric vehicle purchase incentives – Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is available from $49,537 and $48,245, respectively.
 
The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is the industry’s only hybrid-electric minivan, offering an innovative and advanced powertrain that delivers a seamless, efficient driving experience – plus an estimated electric range of up to 48 kilometres, up to 850 kilometres of total driving range and a fuel efficiency rating estimated to be as good as 2.9 litres equivalent per 100 kilometres (Le/100km) or 97 imperial miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) in city driving.
 
Not only does the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid offer the segment’s only hybrid-electric powertrain, it also comes standard with many of the same features offered by the gasoline-powered Pacifica: the Uconnect® Theatre with 10-inch seatback touchscreens; Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist; 360-degree Surround View Camera; heated and ventilated front seats; rotary e-shifter; capless fuel filler; hands-free power sliding doors and liftgate; and KeySense programmable key fob. The only option on Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is the tri-pane panoramic sunroof.

Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Platinum
The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Platinum offers the key comfort, convenience and safety features minivan customers want, including Nappa leather-faced seats, heated and ventilated first-row seats, a heated two-tone steering wheel, remote start, three-zone automatic temperature control, 13-speaker Alpine® premium sound system, 3-D navigation, hands-free power sliding doors and liftgate and 18-inch aluminum wheels.
 
Packed with content inside and out, the Pacifica Hybrid also includes the best-in-class Uconnect Theatre rear-seat entertainment system and KeySense programmable key fob to promote safe driving habits.
 
Safety content includes the Advanced SafetyTec Group with Blind-Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Path Detection, Advanced Brake Assist, Forward Collison Warning with Active Braking, rain-sensing windshield wipers, auto high-beam headlamp control, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, 360-degree Surround View Camera, Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist, and Park-Sense® Front and Rear Park Assist.
 
The Pacifica Hybrid also includes as standard a unique 7-inch full colour customizable in-cluster display. The customizable cluster’s display changes colour to indicate whether the Pacifica Hybrid is operating in electric mode (teal) or hybrid mode (blue), while both the battery level and fuel level are always displayed. One of the available cluster displays is the “efficiency coach,” which guides owners to drive more efficiently and maximize the time spent in battery mode.
 
Also standard on the Pacifica Hybrid is the Uconnect 8.4 Nav multimedia centre, which includes an 8.4-inch touchscreen and the all-new Hybrid Electric Pages, providing owners with helpful vehicle information, including access to the vehicle’s charging schedule and a summary of kilometres driven in both electric and hybrid modes.
 
Other standard features include Active Noise Cancellation, LED signature lighting, SiriusXM satellite radio with a one-year trial and Keyless Enter ‘n Go with proximity entry and push button start.
 
The available tri-pane panoramic sunroof adds to the feeling of spaciousness with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof over the front- and second-row seats and a fixed glass pane over the third row.
