Barbara J. Pilarski was renamed Head of Business Development, FCA – North America in March 2019, responsible for negotiating and executing strategic partnership arrangements. Pilarski previously served as Head of Human Resources, FCA – North America.
 
Pilarski was originally named Head of Business Development, FCA – North America in 2009 and she served in the role until 2017. She also served as Executive Director – Mergers and Acquisitions, Chrysler LLC. In this position, Pilarski was responsible for all aspects of merger, acquisition and divestiture activities for DaimlerChrysler.
 
Pilarski joined the Company in 1985 as a Financial Analyst and has held various positions within the Finance organization, including positions in Controlling and Treasury.

Pilarski serves on the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors for Beaumont Health, Michigan’s largest health care system. She also serves as a board member for the Metro Detroit Youth Clubs, as well as a member of the Campaign Cabinet for United Way of Southeastern Michigan.

Pilarski earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from Wayne State University (1985) and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan (1988).
